This is a 7 page PDF document to support the LO 2.6.2. Investigate factors affecting rates of osmosis across semi-permeable membranes, use primary data to support conclusions.
Each experiment card is 2 pages, contains instructions and questions for students to follow and answer to meet the learning outcome.
Students will investigate:
- Temperature
- Solute Concentration
- Surface Area
I print and laminate the cards.
Groups of students investigate different factors and there is a class results table given to all students to fill in.
Results from all groups can be shared and discussed at the end.
