1.5.3. Evidence for Evolution Station Activity

Description

This is a 7 page PDF document. It is a whole class activity to support the following LO’s

• 1.5 (3) Students should be able to consider evidence for evolution by natural
  selection; discuss the importance of the theory of evolution in understanding
  biology.
• U1 (1) Students should be able to appreciate how scientists work and how scientific
  ideas are modified over time

The first two pages are activity instructions (print and laminate, giving a copy to each pair/group)

There are 5 information cards on evidence to support evolution. You can set this up as a station activity or assign a card to each group.

Each student will have a template table (last page of the document) – by the end of the class they will have all the information needed to fill in this table and stick into their notes copies.
