This is a 26 slide PPT presentation for the new biology syllabus for Investigating in Science for the following learning outcomes:
- U2.1. Recognise questions that are appropriate for scientific investigation
- U2.2. Pose testable hypotheses developed using scientific theories and explanations, and evaluate and compare strategies for investigating hypotheses
- U2.3. Design, plan and conduct investigations; explain how reliability, accuracy, precision, error, fairness, safety, integrity, and the selection of suitable equipment have been considered
- U2.4. Produce and select data (qualitatively/quantitatively), critically analyse data to identify patterns and relationships, identify anomalous observations, draw and justify conclusions
